RHoA S12 Review - The Shady Bunch

What a whirlwind of emotion this season. Having the opportunity to view the twelfth season in a post-COVID world, there was a lot of anticipation to see how the Housewives deal with the initial outbreak. With foresight, it was almost humorous to hear the ladies plan events. Especially the Bailey/Hill wedding (10/10/20), knowing that they don't know what's about to happen to the world. If only Kenya could twirl the world's problems away.

The Housewives of season 12: Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Nene Leakes, Eva Marcille, & Cynthia Bailey

From Snakegate to the group trip to Greece, these women are always involved in some type of drama. With so much shade constantly being thrown, viewers easily miss some crucial details about the Housewives. Four major events occurred this season that stuck out to us at Andy Cohen's Teapot, and one theory we're dying to share.

1. Kandi Burruss is double jointed. She admits during the reunion that something that people don't know about her is that she is double-jointed! With all the drama and shade being thrown it's hard to miss a detail like that. But we're happy for her as she can add it to her long list of talents.

2. Cynthia Bailey LOVES Moe's Southwestern Grill

The cameras are great at catching the Housewives "cooking" meals for their men, their friends, or even themselves. The women invite a rotation of chefs over to their houses to cook their meals, but there was one housewife and one chef this season that wasn't afraid to show their love for each other. More than once throughout the season we can see Cynthia enjoying her Moe's Southwestern Grill chips, salsa, and guacamole.

3. Nene Leakes hates cats (& dogs)

As the group went to Greece there were a lot of positive moments the ladies shared, but something stuck out to us watching from home: Nene hates animals. As the housewives come to this final night abroad they have dinner on a secluded patio. The food sounds and looks delicious as it was ordered and served, but even in the fun and revelry, there is always something that has to happen to make one of the ladies go crazy. This time it was the wild cats, and hotel dog, that made Nene lose her composure. The most adorable little kittens were returning to Nene after she threw food to shoo them away, they just kept coming back for more. Nene proceeded to jump and run away, being outnumbered by a bunch of little fur balls.

4. Yovanna speaks Spanish

Apparently, we can add something else to the list of things nobody remembers about the Snake of Snakegate, a.k.a "That Bitch Yovanna", is she's bilingual. When the pandemic started and shooting had to come to a grinding halt, Andy Cohen and his team decided to take the reunions (luckily the seasons had finished filming by this point), and make them virtual. The ladies stayed home, picked a nice corner in their house, and wore their best dress to argue online for three episodes. Yovanna was a part of about 30 minutes of the final reunion episode where she bad-mouthed Nene and was talked over. Clearly though when 'That Bitch' felt like she was being talked over, she started telling the ACTUAL housewives to be quiet, in Spanish. It took Yovanna 3 seasons to get upset enough to let her Spanish flare fly, but whether or not the pronunciation was good is not up to us. The RHOA have always been open to inclusiveness, including all shades of women, and it was just upsetting and a bit confusing that this was the first time that Yovanna was able to express her culture.

Now the moment you're waiting for.. our theory! We here at Andy Cohen's Teapot believe that Kenya's husband Marc might be a homosexual! If there was a specific side of the nose that would be considered the "gay side" to pierce, it would be whichever side Marc got his done on. Mr. Marc had his baby with a woman who wanted nothing more in life and was having no success in love. Maybe he thought he could make his momma happy and then live a full other life in New York, and you know what's in New York? Homosexuals! It doesn't seem like Marc cares about Kenya at all and has shown that it's caused Kenya distress. Looking, being gay isn't wrong, most of the staff at ACT are homos, but lying about who you are and deceiving another person to get a baby and then abandon them, is wrong. Who knows, maybe Marc is flying to New York because his main piece is a Mister Cohen.

We're looking forward to watching season 13 where they deal with modern issues including civil rights, COVID, and love.
