Jennifer Lawrence calls Erika Jayne 'evil' in Variety interview

The Toronto International Film Festival will conclude next weekend, but award winner Jennifer Lawrence, well known as a super mega fan of the Real Housewives franchise but especially of Beverly Hills, ended her Variety interview on her new award nominated movie, with a few shady comments about this season of RHOBH. Lawrence not only called Cohen and cast boring as they wrapped up their twelfth season, but had specific points to make about long time cast member, Erika Jayne. Lawrence started by describing Jayne as 'evil', and later told that she needs a publicist, suggesting that Jayne is not capable of handling herself. Lawrence then proceeds to compare this situation to one of another Housewife franchise series, New York' when tipsy Dorinda Medley was filmed for hours with lipstick smeared across her face. Lawrence then goes on to ask Jayne's fellow cast members to help her, and show her how she is "coming across".

Erika Jayne, 51, divorced her husband back in the winter of 2020. This came after rumbling of crimes committed by her now ex-husband Tom Girardi. As the ink was drying on the divorce both Girardi was sued for misappropriated millions in client funds during his time as a lawyer, embezzlement, and fraud, and Jayne as an accomplice. But, Jayne put on a brave face this season, even her tagline reflected her IDGF attitude, "I have nothing to hide, and nothing to lose, and that makes me dangerous" (E!Online). Let's hope that next season Lawrence is able to redeem herself in the eyes of Jayne stans around the world.
