This week was the first installment of the season 12 reunion of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and let us say, it was a mess. This reunion was intense from Andy yawning at Dorit Kemsley's sob story and her new PTSD diagnosis, Garcelle Beauvais' son's being the target of hate crimes, and Crystal Minkoff's eating disorder as a topic of conversation and being dismissed yet again. Diana Jenkins also knows up on Zoom, claiming she has COVID. In her line of questioning from Andy she, 1. denies any affiliation with Jeffery Epstein, and 2. doesn't understand what a "black content creator" is and explains she thought it was somebody who creates 'mean' content online. To round out the first part of the reunion, Andy asks Garcelle if she believes Diana is involved in the cyberbullying her children are being subjected to, to which Garcelle agrees that she might be behind it.

Lara Sophia, a long-time writer for All About the Real Housewives explains: Part one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion kicked off with the ladies arriving at the reunion. As the ladies made their way for the set, Lisa Rinna could be seen bringing two Manila envelopes that I can only assume contain her receipts about Kathy Hilton.

The rich ladies of Beverly Hills have a lot of time on their hands, and honestly this season they slayed with everything they did. Dorit getting upset by Andy yawning at her trauma is understandable, but with most people on believing that the robbery was real, it's easy to dismiss the topic. It was wrong for him to get bored during her diagnosis reveal, but that could have been cut out in editing.

When Andy told the ladies that Diana donated money to Tom Girardi's victims, Erika was the first one to congratulate her and tell her how wonderful that is. But if it were any of the other women, she would have blown up at them for taking the side of the prosecution and not of her, their fellow housewife.

This episode sure felt like a whirlwind but we're excited for Reunion Part II next week!
